To support Medical College of Georgia Students at all campuses in the event they incur an emergency that could cause them to not be able to perform duties of a student or could cause them to have to withdraw from medical school. The amount granted per episode to a student should not exceed $500.00, and the student should only be eligible for assistance twice during their medical school period, one during pre-clerkship years and one during the clinical years.
