To support a lectureship by a prominent external expert in cardiovascular/metabolic disease hosted by the Vascular Biology Center.
Conditions: Recipient should be of international acclaim/recognition from an institution other than Augusta University. Allowable costs to the endowment included travel for the guest, an honorarium befitting the stature of the lectureship, a personalized token of recognition (plaque, art glass, etc.) and a small reception/large restaurant dinner for multiple VBC Faculty. Alcohol is a permitted expense.
