To provide a scholarship for medical students at the Medical College of Georgia located in Augusta, GA, with no restrictions on the Scholarship Committee of MCG related to merit, need, geography or other criteria.

Funds presentations and teaching by outstanding, outside professionals to help train residents in dynamic psychotherapy and clinical care of patients.

To support educational activities in the Section of Cardiology of the Department of Medicine, including: 1) an annual award to the Cardiology Fellow selected as having provided outstanding clinical services to adult patients with emphasis on the important details of medical history from the patient and family members, physical exam, EKG and chest x-ray; 2) to support a guest speaker and /or other educational expenses that improve clinical services provide by all of the Cardiology Fellows and, when it is logical and feasible, the educational information provided by this fund is to be made available to faculty and other professional staff.

To provide salary support for a faculty chair in the Section of Cardiology whose work includes performing and teaching clinical diagnosis in the evaluation of adult patients who may have cardiac diseases, with emphasis on the important details of medical history from the patient and family members, physical examination, electrocardiogram and chest x-ray.

To enrich the training of the Ophthalmology residents and vision science graduates in the MCG Department of Ophthalmology and the James & Jean Culver Vision Discovery Institute by supporting travel, research projects, educational material and supplies, and social events for MCG Ophthalmology and Culver VDI members in training.

The funding of scholarships for tuition and student fees for students at the Medical College of Georgia, so long as such student initially enrolled at the Augusta, Georgia campus of the Medical College of Georgia and the establishment or support of endowed faculty chairs at the Augusta campus of the Medical College of Georgia

To support scholarship for medical students at MCG.

To support educational activities and needs of the Department of Radiology and Imaging as determined by the Chair.

To support a chair in the department of radiology in diabetes and obesity.

To provide an annual endowed scholarship in the amount of $10,000, which is merit-based, and awarded to an incoming or current MCG-UGA Partnership medical student of any level, which is renewable until the student completes his or her medical training at the Athens campus. All MCG-UGA Partnership medical students demonstrating leadership, scholarship and service, as defined by the Medical College of Georgia scholarship Committee, are eligible for consideration.

To provide annually renewable scholarships to medical students in good academic standing at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, based on need and merit; selection of scholarship recipients will be made by the Medical College of Georgia Scholarship Committee

To provide scholarships to first year medical students at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia to be renewed annually based on need and merit, as defined by the MCG Scholarship Committee.
