To provide scholarships for medical students at the Medical College of Georgia as determined by the Medical College of Georgia's Scholarship Committee, and based on merit.

A need-based scholarship made available to a rising 3rd or 4th year medical student from the AU's Medical College of Georgia. This student must be a resident, or former resident of Southwest Georgia with preference give to students from Miller, Baker, Mitchell, Seminole, Calhoun, Decatur and Early counties.

To provide financial support of Family Medicine Faculty Development at Georgia Health Sciences University in Augusta, GA.

To support an endowed named lectureship in eye research in the department of Ophthalmology to honor the late Dr. Keith Green.

To support the expenses of an annual speaker who is an expert in Vascular Biology and honor the founding of the Vascular Biology Center by Dr. John D. Catravas.

To support a Professorship in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine.

To support research and graduate fellowship education and travel for the Department of OB/GYN at the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine, Augusta, GA.

To provide an annual tuition scholarship at the Medical College of Georgia, based solely on need, distributed as funds are available annually in perpetuity.

To support a distinguished annual lectureship in the Department of Physiology, and to sponsor other activities for post doctoral fellows, students, faculty, staff and associated members of the Department of Physiology, which enhance the educational and/or research missions of the Department of Physiology.
