To support the programs and activities of the Section of Rheumatology.

To support a chair in the Department of Psychiatry for Psychotic Disorders.

To support a chair in OB/GYN with a focus on pelvic reconstructive surgery for the elderly.

To provide scholarship for the School of Medicine medical students at MCG in Augusta, Georgia as determined by the Medical College of Georgia Scholarship Committee. Renewals for these scholarships will remain under the authority of the Medical College of Georgia Foundation's Scholarship Committee. This should be awarded annually to a first year medical student.

To provide funds to support a distinguished investigator under the guise of the GRA Distinguished Investigator program.

To endow a chair in Hematology/Oncology in honor of honor C. Lawrence Lutcher, M.D.

To fund scholarships for medical students at the Medical College of Georgia, and to be awarded to students from rural areas or small towns with demonstrated need.

To host annual receptions at national professional conferences and educational seminars throughout the country for the benefit of education of the dermatology alumni, faculty, staff, residents and students of The Medical College of Georgia.

To fund scholarships for medical students at the Medical College of Georgia.

To provide funds to residents and fellowship physicians in the Urology Residency Program for travel related expenses including registration, transportation, accommodations, lodging, food and/or incidentals when presenting a poster, abstract, oral presentation, clinical vignette or other original research projects at a national or regional meeting and/or representing MCG. May also be used to make awards to residents presenting the most outstanding research project within a competition to be held in the program or on a sectional, regional, national or world basis. This fund also provides support in general for the residency/fellowship program in Urology.

Tto fund an endowed chair in translational science.

To support a MCG medical student or MCG resident who is going into Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at MCG, or an existing Fellow in Pulmonary Medicine at MCG who, among other attributes, has already exhibited an outstanding compassionate & caring manner for his or her patients.
