To award a scholarship for a Medical College of Georgia student, based on need and merit as determined by the Medical College of Georgia Alumni Association Scholarship Committee.

To provide support for a Surgical/ Oncology chair at MCG.

To provide an annual award for outstanding research conducted at MCG; with selection made by a rotating committee of 3 to 5 NIH-funded MCG researchers (preferably representing various disciplines). It may be used as outright income or by the selected researcher to promote research in his/her laboratory. In the event no suitable recipient is identified in any given year, the funds would be retained and given in ensuing year.

To create a permanent endowment fund to support an eminent faculty member for the section of plastic surgery.

To support a chair in cardiovascular medicine.

To provide scholarships or other financial assistance to regularly enrolled candidates for the degree of Doctor of Medicine for a maximum of 4 years, as guided by the Trustors’ desire that selection be based upon financial need, and upon favorable determination by the committee of a promising and credible scholastic and character background of the recipient.

To establish a permanent endowment fund at MCG, to be expended in support of the faculty member holding the professorship in the Department of Surgery, Section of Pediatric Surgery in consultation with the Dean of MCG.

To fund an endowed chair in surgical oncology at the Medical College of Georgia.

The Foundation has attempted to obtain an official agreement but has been unsuccessful.

To support the educational, clinical, and research activities of the Section of Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Georgia.

To support the programs and activities of the Pharmacology Department in the Medical College of Georgia.

Provide for the educational and professional advancement and enrichment of neurosurgery residents, and faculty education and training to include Grand Rounds honoraria and travel (current and alumni).
