To provide support to the leadership of the Section of Neurosurgery in the Department of Surgery in the form of salary supplement for the Chief of Neurosurgery.

To establish a distinguished annual lectureship in the Department of Pediatrics, providing an outstanding physician/scientist to deliver the lecture and be available during such visit to faculty and students for promoting educational, research and patient care goals of the Department of Pediatrics.

To be used to support the salary of a faculty member at the discretion of the President.

To provide support funding to the leadership of Oncologic Pathology in the form of salary supplement for the Chair Holder. These funds are only used to offset PPG salary supplement, not to be used for department, section, or faculty non-salary benefits or discretionary expenses.

To provide financial support to deserving students in the Medical College of Georgia.

To support men and women preparing to become doctors in rural areas, specifically academically qualified students residing in the following Georgia counties: Floyd, Bartow, Cherokee, Forsyth, Hall, Banks, Franklin, Hart and all counties north thereof, with priority given to any students residing in Bartow or Murray Counties, and particular priority to students who have so resided for at least 15 years.

To recruit, support and maintain an outstanding faculty position in the Department of Psychiatry.

To provide financial support to a selected Orthopedics resident in training for each of the first three academic years in the Orthopedic Residency Program, who has demonstrated outstanding performance on the orthopedic-in-training exam. Additionally, an award may be made to a resident completing his final year of training who has demonstrated superior performance during the entire residency program. Any award not given in a particular year will accrue for awards in a subsequent year.

To endow medical student research projects as approved by a research committee and the Dean of the School of Medicine.

To provide scholarship assistance to outstanding students who require financial assistance for medical school.

To be used in the training of health professionals to treat cancer, or to supply equipment to be used in the treatment of cancer.

To fund a chair in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
