To improve techniques in care, development and treatment of children and for enhancing medical knowledge of the cure and prevention of children's diseases.

To be used to attract visiting lecturers for continuing medical education open to the general medical community.

To provide a honorarium for a visiting lecture in the Department of Anesthesiology.

To sponsor a lectureship or comparable educational activities for students, house staff, faculty and practitioners.

To provide financial support to interns or residents who are training for, and are committed to, the practice of Urological Medicine.

To provide merit scholarships to rising sophomore medical students at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta from Johnson or Lauren Counties in the State of Georgia to be renewed annually based on merit. If the scholarship cannot be awarded for a period of four years due to the fact that no students are from Johnson or Lauren Counties, then the Scholarship Committee of the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta may award to a student from Trutlen, Telfair, Dodge, Emanuel, Washington, Wilkinson, Bleckly, Pulaski, Baldwin, Wheeler or Twiggs Counties. If there are no students from any of the above counties available then the Scholarship Committee could award from any rural County in the State of Georgia.

To support the activities of rural health medicine.

To provide funds to recognize a medical student with financial need who demonstrates a commitment toward academic excellence and a concern for others.

To provide support funds to the leadership of the Section of Otolaryngology in the Department of Surgery in the form of salary supplement for the Chief of the Section of Otolaryngology.

To support the programs and activities of the Department of Medicine as determined by the Dean of the Medical College of Georgia and the chairman of the Department of Medicine.

To fund research activities of the Alzheimer's Research Center.

To support a faculty chair position in the Department of Pediatrics.
