To endow a need-based four year scholarship to be awarded to a Lowndes County student pursuing his or her medical degree.

To support the clinical educator holding the professorship in the Department of Family Medicine.

To support the expenses of the daily operation of the Rinker Witherington Urologic Society, and underwrite expenses for sponsoring an annual Rinker Witherington Lectureship.

To stimulate research and education in the field of endocrinology by inviting an outstanding scientist in the field of endocrinology annually to present a seminar and meet with faculty and students to discuss research findings and new directions in research. Will also provide The Virendra B. Mahesh Graduate Student Award on Graduate Student Research Day to the best student poster presented in the area of endocrinology.

To support the Department of Anesthesiology research efforts of faculty and to enhance the educational resources for faculty, residents and medical students.

To support a chair in the Department of Surgery.

To supplement salary of the distinguished chair of Radiology in the amount of $10,000 per year. Income in excess of $10,000, 50% may be spent for research and purchase of equipment at the discretion of the Warren Professor, and the remaining 50% of such excess shall be turned over to the trustees of the Amy Warren and Lamar Warren trust to be used in the fellowship project.

To support the research and investigation of the cause and cure of malignant diseases and allied conditions.
