To support programs and activities of the Department of Anesthesiology.

'To support the programs and activities of the Floyd E. Bliven Society of the Section of Orthopedics of MCG, as determined by the Chief of the Section of Orthopedics, the Executive Director of the Floyd E. Bliven Society and the other officers of the same Society.

To promote educational advancement for residents, sponsor seminars, symposiums and research educational courses for residents, staff and faculty and utilize community resources for the advancement in medical education.

To support cardiovascular pharmacology research and education at MCG through the purchase of research equipment and supplies, provision of travel for faculty, fellows, students or staff from MCG to scientific meetings, funding visits from outside scientists or educators to advance effectiveness of cardiovascular pharmacology.

Will support research whose benefits will accrue to patients with diabetes.

To provide a Medical College of Georgia Class of '56 wreath at the death of each School of Medicine class member and to provide a memorial plaque displaying the names and dates of the deceased class members.

To support continuing education courses and related professional activities of the School of Medicine.

To provide an annual lecture for medical students and others interested by a distinguished physician or scientist upon a medical or related scientific project.

To support programs and activities of the Dean of the School of Medicine.

To support research in the area of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and other functions related to the Maternal-Fetal Section in the OB/GYN Department.

To support academic activities in the Department of Emergency Medicine to include teaching, resident medical education and the purchase of equipment, and supplies used for academic and teaching.

To support the programs and activities of the MCG's section of Endocrinology and Nutrition to include: supplies, equipment, travel, costs incurred in hosting and attending seminars and postgraduate programs, seminar registration fees, and recruitment of faculty and fellows.
