To support the emergency medicine residency program.

To support research and continuing education for staff of the epilepsy/EEG program.

To support the programs and activities of the Department of Medicine.

To provide funds for expenses, equipment and supplies as need for the Hematology/Oncology section, including expenses occurring due to job-related meetings.

To support the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology for education, travel, and research.

To advance the functions and activities of the Center for Sports Medicine.

To assist transplant donors and recipients from South Carolina.

Supports patient care, patient services, education and research, including purchase of equipment, supplies, travel money and other expenses related to the Cervi Cusco clinic in Peru.

To support research and educational activities in neonatal nutrition such as: supplies, small equipment, books, travel to scientific and professional meetings, and assorted laboratory needs.

To support the educational programs and professional activities of the Department of Neurology.

To support research and education in the Section of Nuclear Radiology, including collaborative projects with other departments at the Medical College of Georgia and VAMC-Augusta. Includes but not limited to: salaries, travel, supplies, equipment, publication costs, and invited lectureships.

To be used in support of the programs and activities of the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology as determined by the Chairman of the Department with special emphasis on travel expenses for housestaff.
