To support medical student scholarships at the Medical College of Georgia with an annual award of $2,000.00 to a deserving medical student based on need and merit.

To support medical students and their engagement at the Rome campus of the Medical College of Georgia, honoring the legacy of Dr. Berta Vallis who practiced medicine at the Battey Hospital in Rome and whose son, Dzintris Vallis, MD is a 1960 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. Student must be in clinical year 3 or 4 and be designated to the Northwest Region (Rome Campus), in good academic standing, must demonstrate financial need based on debt load, requires a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form to be completed. Student must physically move to NW Georgia for clinical.

To support programs and activities at the Center for Ultrasound Education.

The Drs. Frank Rumph and John T. Harper Sr. Scholarship supports students with financial need, with preference given to those who have demonstrated strong academic performance and/or leadership. This scholarship is renewable annually based on ongoing academic performance that meets the existing criteria of the Medical College of Georgia scholarship committee.

Supports training of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the Department of Physiology.

Supports expenses associated with hosting a special guest lecturer, to facilitate the educational, research and patient care goals of the division of Allergy and Immunology in the departments of Pediatrics or Internal Medicine.
