Provides an annual $1,500 scholarship to Dental College of Georgia students. Recipients must be in good standing with a demonstrated need for financial assistance and must intend to work after graduation as full-time dentists and not in a teaching capacity.

Provides an annual scholarship to a deserving dental student as selected by the Dental College of Georgia Scholarship Committee.

The Class of 1973, in honor of being the first class to graduate from the Dental College of Georgia, establishes this scholarship endowment to provide an annual scholarship for a deserving student.

To support a chair within the Dental College of Georgia, known as the Thomas P. Hinman Chair in Restorative Dentistry. Should the need to support the restorative dental faculty chair position cease to exist, the MCGF agrees to direct income from this fund to restorative dental education.

To support student research projects within the Dental College of Georgia. The spendable portion of the fund will be calculated in accordance with the MCG Foundation's guidelines.

To support the Department of Oral Rehabilitation at the Dental College of Georgia as determined by the chairperson of the department in consultation with the Dean of the DCG.

This endowment will provide tuition scholarships for a dental student. A 3.0 GPA is required for renewal each year.

To support the programs and activities of the School of Dentistry Alumni Association and to provide scholarships for School of Dentistry students.

SECTION 1: To support 1) a clinician primarily for the benefit of the residents in the Prosthodontics Program; 2) residents to attend clinician/ continuing education programs; 3) resident research activities; 4) provide funds for appropriate library acquisitions and journal subscriptions; 5) purchase equipment and other items - not expendables related to patient care; 6) provide loans to residents in incidents of extreme need;
SECTION 2: To support 1) prosthodontic faculty research essential for career development; 2) junior prosthodontic faculty to attend continuing education courses and/or appropriate professional meetings; 3) make a monetary award to an undergraduate student at graduation who has demonstrated superior performance to the occlusal aspects of prosthodontics.

To support a chair in the Department of Orthodontics.

The fund is to benefit only graduate students and residents in pursuit of a specialty certificate in Periodontics at the Dental College of Georgia, and used in support of their (a) research projects and other scholarly activities, (b) travel/scientific meetings, or (c) for their general or special support requirements.
