To provide funding for worthy students in the nursing anesthesia program, who: 1) is a Georgia resident 2)Have completed three semesters as a full time student in the Nursing Program at AU; 3) Intends to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist within the state of Georgia and become a member of the GANA committee for a period of one year beginning within one year of completion of the program.

To provide financial assistance to graduate students in the College of Nursing.

To support a chair in the College of Nursing designated by the Dean and CoN Alumni Association and to provide an annual award of $100 to the student having the highest in " Clinical Nursing" CoN.

To provide partial salary support for the faculty member who is the current recipient of the Kellett Chair of Nursing. In addition a small percentage of the interest earned on the principal will be used to provide support to the office of the Kellett Chair for such items as travel, research, seed money, supplies and RA's.

To provide a scholarship each year to a Ph.D. student for scholarly writing.

To support graduate students, clinical nurse specialists in oncology, and faculty research in oncology nursing. The fund will support a minimum yearly award of $500.

This fund will support the general operations of the College of Nursing Alumni Association.

To fund scholarship awards to graduate students in the College of Nursing. The criteria is: academic excellence in undergraduate and/or graduate work, contribution or willingness to contribute to scholarly works, and involvement in professional organizations.

To support a nursing student scholarship with a preference for first generation college students.

To hire a professional writer to finish Ms. Grant's book on the history of the AU College of Nursing.

To establish an expendable fund for excellence in nursing education at the AU College of Nursing for the purpose of expanding the Clinical Nurse Leaders program.
